Amy first studied film and journalism before realising that veterinary nursing was her vocation. Amy has worked in many small animal clinics, a large animal hospital and has also worked as a vet nurse in the United Kingdom. The bond between patient and nurse is one of the reasons Amy loves being a veterinary nurse and enjoys seeing her patients coming back to visit the clinic when they are on the mend. Amy also has special interests in emergency nursing, inpatient care, pathology and pet adoption. Amy also takes puppy school classes at JSVC.

At home, Amy spends time with "Elvis Presley",  a 5 year old rescue Burmese cat, who does believe he is The King. Each time Amy brings him to the clinic, he leaves with one less tooth.

In her spare time, Amy loves to see live music, read and spend time with her family and friends.

Dr. Holly Kang has spent time working in small animal clinics and emergency centres after graduating from the University of Edinburgh in the UK with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. She has undertaken further examinations and has gained qualification in veterinary emergency and critical care with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.

Holly enjoys working up a variety of cases, as well as the adrenaline rush when stabilising a critical patient.

She has 2 cats who are happily addicted to food, sunny spots and cuddles on demand. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and outdoor activities such as hiking.

Before starting vet school, Ania worked as professional opera singer in both Australia and Europe. In her spare time, Ania sings in the chorus for Melbourne Opera and enjoys cooking for friends at home. At home, she has a gorgeous tabby cat named Ziggy who enjoys spooning and long naps.

Ania completed university placement  with JSVC in 2016 and kept in contact with the team. Ania gladly accepted a full time new graduate position and is very excited to begin her veterinary career with JSVC!
