Amy first studied film and journalism before realising that veterinary nursing was her vocation. Amy has worked in many small animal clinics, a large hospital and shelter and has worked as veterinary nurse in the United Kingdom. Amy loves all aspects of nursing in particular medicine patient care and senior health. However it is the bond between patient and nurse that she values most.
Amy helped Dr Will in establishing JSVet back in 2011 and with her nursing background and experience, was promoted to Practice Manager in 2017. Amy and Will work closely together as the management team to keep JSVet constantly evolving and to ensure this clinic stands out from the rest.
At home, Amy spends time with “Elvis Presley” a rescue Burmese cat, who does believe he is The King. Each time Amy brings him to the clinic, he leaves with one less tooth. In her spare time Amy enjoys frequenting the dog parks with the dogs she minds through pet sitting, seeing live music and finding a sunny beer garden; dog friendly of course!
