Dr Jessica graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honours in 2013. Since graduating, Jess has worked in general practice, shelter, emergency and rabbit clinics. Jess is a self confessed crazy cat lady and loves all things to do with feline medicine and surgery.
She also has a keen interest in acupuncture and is on her way to completing her studies in veterinary acupuncture in mid 2019. Jess’ passion is animal welfare and she has been volunteering with Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary since 2010.
Jess is the doting mother of a family of rescues animals: as sassy tabby cat called Imogen, an eccentric Devon Rex named Poppy, Benson the lovable moggy, an ex-research Border Collie named Bodhi and a JRT X called Elliott who is a congenital amputee. With all these fur-babies there is never a dull moment (or spare space on the couch) in Jess’ house.
In her spare time Jess loves to play roller derby and teach roller skating classes.
